We stayed higher up north (Donegal), where is green and wild, with bog-land and as many lakes as fields. There were more pubs than seems possible per populus. The Irish are laid back and friendly. My kids loved how complete strangers lift their fingers to say "cheers" when passing. I found Guinness foul but it must be an acquired taste. <br />My kids loved the rain, and the long days, the wild greenness and the turf fires. They didn't like the long winding lanes ( were travel sick half the time) and their mum negotiating how to overtake the tractors on the wrong side of the road.Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11653097575104983854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9045462.post-11764009989849353792009-09-07T09:26:25.189+03:002009-09-07T09:26:25.189+03:00This is a beautiful account.
