One Room Apartment - Tokyo
A picture I saw on Yossi Raz's blog in Notes. I assume the reason they built the house up in the air is the need for that much-coveted luxury in Tokyo: a parking spot.
Doesn't surprise me frankly. The moment I saw buildings built between the support columns of freeway over-passes in Tokyo I knew it was a good idea. Maybe that's just the architect in me though.
My cousins live in Shibuya-ku for 5 years-- I saw some strange edifices when I came for a visit.
